Are miniature doughnuts the new black? Datz's younger sibling, Dough, thinks so.

Tuesday afternoon, the South Tampa bakery announced on social media that its newest menu items are mini doughnuts, which have become increasingly popular with local eaters. Dough's made-to-order minis, offered in a $5 basket, come in triple chocolate, birthday cake, Florida strawberry and s'mores flavors, but can also be customized.

The bite-size creations (featured in the video below) join the shrunken sweets served at spots like Mini Doughnut Factory, another South Tampa bake shop that's gained a cult-like following, and Better Byrd, which debuted its mini doughnuts — and chicken — to the St. Petersburg dining scene last month.
