So… the Most Interesting Man in the World is set to pour cocktails in Tampa later this week.

For real.

Behind the bar of Tampa Heights' Hall on Franklin, which is known as The Collection.

Between 9 and 10 p.m. Friday.

The Most Interesting Man's real identity is actor Jonathan Goldsmith. Yet whether you recognize him for those out-there Dos Equis TV commercials, as the popular internet meme, or, you know, for that disarming, distinguished beard, the dude is a legend all the same.

Goldsmith portrayed the Most Interesting Man — best known for his line, "I don't always drink beer, but when I do, it's Dos Equis" — for a decade from 2006 to 2016. Another actor, Augustin Legrand, has taken over the role since, but Goldsmith did always drop the best wisdom.

"Running in place will never get you the same results as running from a lion."

I mean, come on. Best excuse to skip the gym ever.

Locals are welcome to order a drink from the original Most Interesting Man in the World when he's in town to guest bartend — for one night — at The Hall. Well, OK, you might end up admiring him from across the room, depending on the turnout (something tells us the European-inspired specialty foodporium is gonna have a packed house). But Goldsmith does plan to hang out after his shift until midnight.

"I'm a huge fan of the most interesting man in the world," said Jamal Wilson, founder of The Hall. "I plan to show up in a full tuxedo, and spend the night sharing stories!"
