Tampa Bay cookie-lovers will soon have another bakery to work into their rotation when Crumbl opens at 1902-A S Dale Mabry Hwy. With locations in Brandon, Lutz, Clearwater and St. Petersburg, South Tampa’s serious Crumbl deficit will end when its newest bakery debuts in a few months.
Crumbl is best known for its rotating menu of over 170 flavors of speciality cookies, giving customers new batches to choose from each week. Its cookie flavors are “inspired by cakes, candies, pies, and desserts of all kinds,” according to its website.
Popular brands of cereals and candies usually make their way into Crumbl’s cookie offerings, too. This week's featured menu includes its cereal milk with Fruity Pebbles and cinnamon with Cinnamon Toast Crunch cookies.
Other popular flavors include milk chocolate chip, blueberry muffin, hazelnut sea salt, pink sugar, snickerdoodle and Oreo birthday cake—which are always packaged in Crumbl’s iconic pink cookie boxes.
There are several different ways to get your Crumbl cookies, from direct delivery to curbside and in-store pickup and event catering.
In an email to Creative Loafing Tampa Bay, co-owner Jesse Wojdylo says that he and his brother are expecting to have their Crumbl’s doors open by Memorial Day weekend in late May, but says “anything can happen with supply chain issues.” He notes that most Crumbl franchises typically open on Fridays, and that future customers should look out for a soft opening date on May 27—the start of Memorial Day weekend.
The Utah-based cookie chain debuted in 2017, and now has over 300 locations across the country, with about a dozen shops in Florida alone.
And if you can’t wait for South Tampa’s Crumbl to open, you can get its warm cookies delivered directly to your door from the Brandon, Lutz, Clearwater or St. Petersburg locations. Check out its several shipping and delivery options on the Crumbl website.
