It is official: The St. Pete location of the Tampa Bay restaurant with one of the heaviest cult-like followings, Datz, will be debuting June 17.

Those residing in the 'Burg will no longer need to cross the bridge to get their Willy Wonka fix much longer. With the next few weeks, new employees will be trained and final touches will be completed before welcoming customers.

Residing next door to the James Museum of Western & Wildlife Art at 180 Central Ave., guests can expect the same menu offerings, like the decadent Double D burger, complete with glazed doughnuts for buns, or the Cheesy Todd, with fried mac 'n' cheese discs sandwiching in fat patties. Not to mention colorful cocktails, and equally-as-creative vegetarian options.

Hope you're hungry, St. Pete, Datz is coming.
