Over the next few weeks, downtown St. Pete is set to welcome a handful of new concepts: Valkyrie Doughnuts, Lala karaoke bar and restaurant, and Grand Central Brewhouse. Along with your booze, sweet treats and missed high notes, you can also grab a cup of joe from Paradeco Coffee Roasters.

Set to make its debut this fall, the final stages of buildout at the new coffee shop are underway at 111 2nd Ave. NE Suite 101 in the Plaza Tower & Courtyard Shops. The plaza (pictured) is also home to The Ale & The Witch, Dracula’s Legacy wine bar, alongside retail stores.

Paradeco’s Facebook page invites locals to set up camp for a day of freelancing, connecting, or even feeding a caffeine addiction.

“We believe in sustainability, consistency, and having a damn good time. We're not just a coffee shop, we’re a destination, and a sublime place to kick back and drink up,” a post says. “Bring your work and stay all day, or swing by for a quick fix.”

According to an interview with local blog, St. Pete Rising, alongside espresso drinks, guests can also order baked goods sourced from local bakeries as well as overnight cold oats, avocado toast, wraps, and breakfast sandos. You can even opt for vegan or gluten-free treats.

More details as construction continues and the opening date nears.
