Tampa Bay is a place of endless humidity and pit stains. So it makes sense that a hefty number of new ice cream concepts have been popping up around town. Just to give you an idea of the frozen dairy content, within the last year Aubi & Ramsa, two Chill Bros. scoop shops, Let It Be, Bright Ice, Revolution Ice Cream’s South Tampa location, and one of two Jeni’s Splendid storefronts have all blossomed throughout all corners of Tampa Bay. Oh, not to mention forthcoming boozy liquid nitrogen joint Buzzed Bull Creamery.

All that to say that Hyde Park is soon to be home to Oh Yeah Creamery. The concept is coming along at 224 S. Blvd. in Hyde Park in the same building as Noble Market.

Since August, Oh Yeah has been sharing its construction process on social media, from gutting the storefront to shouting out local partnerships like Tampa Bay Wood Works, which is creating custom tables, counters and decor for the creamery. According to a post, Oh Yeah is also teaming up with Revolution Ice Cream Co., to provide customers with the “highest of quality ice cream.”

The shop also teases possible flavors inspired by nostalgic cereal (like Trix, Lucky Charms and Cap’n Crunch) and desserts like Cosmic Brownie, Oatmeal Cream Pies and Swiss Rolls.

Sounds like you’ll need to take a lap around Hyde Park Village after getting broken off with these hefty offerings.

As of October 6, Oh Yeah teases that the opening may be within the next month or so. Which means, might not be much longer until you get a taste of what Oh Yeah is scooping. More details on offerings to come as construction continues and an opening date is announced.
