A New Port Richey beer lovers’ getaway is getting a little bigger.

After more than a decade of serving up award-winning brews, Escape Brewing is evolving into The Collective at Escape, a new taproom and food hall—with the grand opening scheduled for Thursday, March 6 at 9:30 a.m.

Originally slated to open in mid-November last year, The Collective at Escape, located at 11495 Trinity Blvd., faced an unexpected delay due to back-to-back hurricanes. But now, after months of anticipation, the team is ready to unveil its expanded vision to the community.

The new space—featuring art from Bay area artist Veronica Steiner—more than doubles Escape Brewing’s production capacity, allowing the team to ramp up from 2,000 to 4,500 barrels per year. That means more of their fan-favorite brews, like The Other West Coast IPA, Goofy Footed Wheat Ale, and the newly crafted The Collective Light American Lager, as well as an expanded selection of seasonal and specialty beers.

“We’re excited to keep pushing boundaries and offering more variety while still serving the beers our fans love,” Escape Brewing co-founder John McGregor said, in a press release.

The brewery’s commitment to quality has earned it a reputation as one of Florida’s best, with multiple gold and silver medals from the World Beer Cup, Great American Beer Festival, and Best Florida Beer Competition.

What sets The Collective at Escape apart from a traditional taproom is its food hall concept, featuring six of Tampa Bay’s most exciting food vendors, each bringing bold flavors to complement Escape’s beers:

  • Gallito Taqueria Mexican street food from Proper House Group, featuring signature queso birria tacos.
  • Dang Dude Asian-inspired street food, also from Proper House with noodles, dumplings, and spring rolls.
  • Jimmy Renner’s Burger Co. Smash burgers and crispy fried chicken.
  • 3 Corners Pizza Slices, pies, stuffed subs, and fresh salads.
  • Florida Donut Co. Sweet, savory, and boozy donuts paired with gourmet coffee.
  • ĀTO Burrito and Bowls Customizable burritos, bowls, and sushi rolls.
“This will be a place where the community can come together to enjoy incredible craft beer paired with some of the best local eats,” co-founder Matt Thompson said.

A rep for The Collective at Escape told Creative Loafing Tampa Bay that after the grand opening, the concept will open at 11 a.m. daily, and close at 10 p.m. Monday-Thursday, 11 p.m. Friday-Saturday, and 9 p.m. on Sunday.
