Things are about to get a little funky in South Tampa.

Last week, Ciccio Restaurant Group took to Instagram to announce that its latest concept Luv Child will be opening in late October.

"What happens at @lodgetampa stays at the lodge. 🤫 That one time when 516 S Howard Ave got her groove back, and made a LUV CHILD. 💗 Who’s ready for chapter 2?," the group wrote. "Introducing, @luvchildsoho 🕺🏻🔥✨ Part Cubano y Mexicano. We’ll be welcoming our newest baby in late October."

The restaurant will take over the former space, which once housed The Lodge, with new eats and vibes.

Both the Ciccio Restaurant Group and Luv Child accounts have been posting nothing but '70s workout hotties to build the hype. Although CRG is keeping the concept on the hush, we're ready to try out this Cuban-Mexican fusion concept in the coming weeks.

Luv Child will be in good company, seeing as how CRG has a handful of restaurants in South Tampa including Green Lemon, Fresh Kitchen, Ciccio Water, Daily Eats, and Sweet Soul. Hopefully Luv Child will prove to be a bigger hit than The Lodge.

For those wanting to get on the payroll, Luv Child is currently hiring. All those interested can apply through cicciorestaurantgroup.com.

More details to come as the official opening date is announced.
