Bakery and dessert concept This Momma Cooks & Co celebrated its grand opening on January 4 in Largo this past Saturday.
Anastasia Thompson, the owner of This Momma Cooks & Co, has been slinging custom birthday cakes and cupcakes and throughout the Tampa Bay area for months before opening this brick and mortar storefront.
The Bearded BBQ Food Truck joined the new bakery’s grand-opening party, offering a savory counterpart to the various cakes, cookies, and other sweet treats that This Momma Cooks & Co had for sale. Instant crowd pleasers were the maple bacon and funfetti cupcakes, chocolate brownies and fresh chocolate chip cookies.
With hanging lights, pink walls, and flowers decorating every corner, This Momma Cooks & Co’s storefront is a warm and welcoming cafe.
North Pinellas County’s newest bakery offers custom cakes and treats, and will offer light lunch bites throughout the week as well, although there is no updated menu. Swing by and get enticed by its glass cases of treats, or order a custom cake for your next event.
This Momma Cooks & Co is located at 12081 Seminole Blvd. in Largo, and is open 11 a.m. to 4 p.m. daily.
