On Sunday, The Brass Tap, which announced its plans for Tyrone Square Mall back in August, will open its doors to St. Petersburg beer fans. Since the debut coincides with the Super Bowl, the craft beer bar will offer specials on North Carolina and Denver brews throughout the day.
The celebration will continue during the official grand opening Saturday, Feb. 13, with giveaways, live music and tappings from local breweries, including St. Pete Brewing Co., Cycle Brewing, 3 Daughters Brewing, Pair O' Dice Brewing Co. and Green Bench Brewing Co.
In addition to 60 beers on tap, the bar is set to feature a food menu, weekend brunch and full liquor bar. The daily menu will include happy hour until 7 p.m., and themed nights like Hospitality Mondays, Taco Tuesdays and Brewery of the Month Fridays will be hosted as well.
