The coffee shop is right on target with its mid-September opening projection and will soon be slinging cereal and other sweets. The grand opening is hosted from 6 a.m.- 7 p.m. on Wednesday, offering customers 10% off their order during opening week.
Although Milkin’ It isn’t technically a cereal bar, it does however serve up treats (including ice cream) infused with cereal milk.
Diners can also snag smoothies, vegan cookies, as well as Cuban and egg sandwiches. All products are baked and created in-house allowing customers to choose between selecting pastries (similar to Pop-Tarts) from the case or creating a custom flavor of their own. Other menu options include doughnuts, pandebono (Colombian cheese bread), espresso drinks and iced coffee.
Oh, and rather than your ordinary milk, the concept has created three different offerings, almond milk made with coconut sugar, milk made with brown sugar, and cornflake infused cereal milk.
When it comes to seating, there are 16 seats indoor as well as outdoor tables with umbrellas. You can grab your treats for dine-in or takeout initially, but the concept has plans to expand with delivery options in the near future.
Just a heads up, there is only street parking available, so you might want to carpool or scoot your way over to ensure easy access.
