The 10th Fresh Kitchen (FK) location opens Monday, March 22 in New Tampa at 8648 Hunters Village Rd. off of Bruce B. Downs Boulevard.
The official grand opening event kicks off Monday with prizes for the first 50 guests plus a business card catering raffle. On Tuesday, there’s another catering raffle plus a free hat and scratch off for the first 50 guests.
But if you can’t wait, a soft opening happens this weekend— from 11 a.m.-1 p.m. and 6 p.m.-8 p.m. Friday and 11 a.m.-1 p.m. Saturday—complete with free bowl giveaways for every $10 donation towards the nonprofit Keep Tampa Bay Beautiful.
In regards to the locations COVID-19 protocols, a press release stated the following: “All team members at FK New Tampa will wear masks, complete daily health checks and undergo food safety and sanitation training. For additional convenience, FK New Tampa will also offer online ordering with contactless pick-up and delivery through third-party platforms like Uber Eats and DoorDash.”
Fresh Kitchen has moved outside of Tampa Bay with locations in Boca Raton, Orlando and Sarasota. The New Tampa comes in the wake of recent $4 million expansion, with Gainesville next. The Alachua county spot is slated for a summer opening with a first for the brand—a drive-thru window.
Fresh Kitchen New Tampa hours will be 11 a.m.-9:35 p.m. Monday-Saturday and Sundays from 11 a.m.-9:05 p.m.
Owned by Tampa’s Ciccio Group (CRG), the first Fresh Kitchen location opened in 2014 on S Howard Avenue in South Tampa. The fast-casual restaurant serves the keto-centric public (or vegan or gluten-free) build-your-own bowls with numerous protein, base and veggie options.
According to CRG’s website, James Lanza first started the company in the mid-‘90s which now has over 10 restaurant brands including Daily Eats, Green Lemon, and Luv Child.
