Retired nurses Anabel and David Ottersbach say their boutique healthy shake and tea shop, Anthem House, opens next month in Clearwater at 25028 U.S. Highway 19 N.
“My husband has been wanting to open Anthem House for a while. And we thought, if we didn’t do it now, we were never going to do it,” Anabel tells CL. So they took the leap, acquired a space and quickly began spreading the word to get their following excited for the coming health bar where the couple — committed to supporting others in getting on the right path through diet, fitness and motivational words — hopes to help community members find voice while developing a healthy lifestyle.
Anabel is a Herbalife Distributor who still holds free women empowerment seminars, fitness and dance classes at parks around Tampa Bay, but unpredictable Florida weather forced her to find a centralized location where she can bring all of her clients under one roof.
“I've been running my business online for the last 3 years. I haven’t had a place to get together and build a community,” Anabel adds. “Our mission at Anthem House is to allow our clients and community to surround themselves with likeminded [positive] people, which can change the game for anyone. It is like a home."
Other than the spiritual element, Anthem House will serve up healthy shakes, energizing teas and coffee; vegan options are at the ready to accommodate dietary preferences. A grand opening event is scheduled for late October or early November, and the Otterbachs are partnering with local vendors to acquire raffle prizes for the celebration.
Details on healthy shakes and meal options, class scheduling and construction will come before an official opening date is announced.
