The Manatee River area will be home to the newest location of tropical-themed casual restaurant Whiskey Joe’s.

It's set to open in March at 5315 19th St. E in Ellenton, although an exact grand-opening date has yet to be determined.

Spring-breakers, snowbirds, and Ellenton residents alike will enjoy Whiskey Joe’s signature eats of grouper tacos, gator bites, jumbo shrimp cocktail and coconut-rum chicken—alongside the rest of its Florida-centric menu of appetizers, entrees, and tropical cocktails.

And it wouldn’t be a true Whiskey Joe's without a beachfront view and laid-back atmosphere—the only difference between the new Ellenton spot and the Tampa location is that guests will enjoy views of the Manatee River instead of Old Tampa Bay.

Expect its outdoor tiki bar to have all of the classic Whiskey Joe’s charm of fire pits, live entertainment, and bare feet.

This fourth Whiskey Joe’s location is now hiring for servers, cooks, hosts and dishwashers—job fairs happen from January 21- 23 at the Courtyard by Marriott  in Bradenton.
