Pinellas restaurants are joining forces, with the help of Tampa Bay Beaches Chamber of Commerce, for a week-long “Taste of the Beaches” happening Oct. 4-10.
Tickets are available online for $10 per taste, and you can buy as many or as little as you want. Bring your ticket to one of the many participating spots, during regular business hours, in exchange for a featured “taste” which is usually a small entree-sized item, sometimes with a beverage.
Some of the available options are individual pizzas from Slyce Pizza Bar (Indian Rocks, Madeira, and St. Pete Beach locations), tempura-battered lobster corn dog and foie gras donut served with a Saintly Sour cocktail from 82 Degrees Bar and Grill, Caribbean spiced grouper taco with a spicy ginger Margarita at Kokomo’s Bar & Grille (Marriott Sand Key), and Crab Rangoon egg rolls and Aloha Punch from Twisted Tiki.
A part of the proceeds benefit Tampa Bay Watch, a local nonprofit “dedicated to the protection and restoration of the Tampa Bay estuary through scientific and educational programs.”
