Nékter Juice Bar's first Tampa Bay location will ring in its grand opening with 16-ounce fresh juices and superfood smoothies for $1. In Valrico just south of Bloomingdale Avenue, the new outpost at 3482 Lithia Pinecrest Road is part of the Lithia Crossing Shopping Center, where the discounted drinks (limited to one per person) are up for grabs from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. Nov. 3.
Doubling as a fundraiser for the nonprofit Bloomingdale Youth Sports Association, the grand opening will feature swag bags for the first 50 guests, free samples, entertainment, prizes and giveaways from a few wellness partners. One-day cleanses are also available for $35 — while supplies last.
Nékter Valrico is locally owned by Scott Hileman. The Tampa resident and former professional soccer player plans to launch two other sites in Tampa and Trinity, which are coming soon.
"At Nékter Juice Bar, we hope to nourish the lives of our guests by offering delicious and clean juices, smoothies, bowls and snacks with the essential nutrients that help us thrive throughout the day," Hileman said in a statement. "I'm delighted to open my first Nékter Juice Bar in Valrico and hope everyone will join us at our grand opening to enjoy fresh juices and Superfood smoothies for just $1!"
A franchise based in Southern California, Nékter has more than 120 locations across 13 states. The juice bar is known for its customizable lineup of smoothies and juices, plus acai bowls. Grab-and-go snacks and vegan ice cream round out the menu.
Hours of operation for Nékter Valrico are 7 a.m. to 7 p.m. Monday through Saturday, and 8 a.m. to 6 p.m. Sunday.
