The new family-friendly eatery, Brooklyn Pizza Company, opened last month at 10785 Park Blvd. It uses spring water, imported San Marzano tomatoes and Wisconsin cheese to pull off its specialty pizzas, which include the Godfather (house-made meatballs, pepperoni, Italian sausage, green peppers, mushrooms, caramelized onions, green olives, fresh basil, mozzarella) and White Out (virgin olive oil, garlic, ricotta, sun-dried tomatoes, artichokes, spinach, mozzarella).
Zucchini fries, a variety of pasta, jumbo chicken wings, and flame-grilled chicken and burgers — one of them being a short rib and Angus beef burger with sharp Cheddar, applewood-smoked bacon, lettuce, tomato and onion on a toasted brioche bun — are among the non-pizza offerings.
There's also wine, bottled brews and local craft beer on draft, and delivery is available.
