If you're a sushi lover, you're in luck.
From 6:30 to 9:30 p.m. Sept. 24, up to 12 restaurants will gather at Ybor City's The Ritz with unlimited samples, battling it out to swoon the audience's stomachs with their sushi. Spots like the Tampa-based Kona Grill and Clearwater's Pisces Sushi & Global Bistro are set to participate.
During the event, attendees will vote for their favorite item to crown the "Audience Choice Award," while a panel of judges presents the overall winner with "Golden Chopsticks Award." The night will also bring activities like a karaoke contest, a Godzilla movie and sumo wrestling suits.
Tickets are $45 for general admission, and VIP entry, which include endless saki bombs and early access at 5:30 p.m., costs $75. The sake tasting may be added to general admission for an extra $20.
