Tampa Bay is rife with small, independent coffee shops, including some that’ve grown into local chains. In Tampa alone, we have local folks like Spaddy’s, King State, Union, and Buddy Brew with Kung Fu Tea, Bandit, and Intermezzo Coffee & Cocktails across the Howard Frankland.

Well, St. Pete soon gets to taste of Orlando when Foxtail Coffee Co. opens at at 730 4th St. N within the next three to four months.

St. Pete Rising said the coffee shop will take up the space previously occupied by Mini Doughnut Factory, which closed in 2019. Visitors can order from a variety of hot and cold drinks, baked goods, and more. The coffee shop even sells its own bagged coffee blends, coffee gear, and cold brew in-store.

“Foxtail Coffee is very excited to finally break into the Tampa Bay market,” said Foxtail Coffee partner Miguel de Arcos. “Our whole team spends time there and have been wanting to bring our cafes to the market for a while.”

This will be the first location open outside of Foxtail’s 19 Orlando stores. Plans for several more Tampa Bay cafes are in the works.

Follow the chain on Facebook and Instagram to get all the upcoming details about the cafe.
