Ever since the sign for Otsuka Ramen went up a few weeks ago at 6800 N. Dale Mabry Hwy. in Tampa, we've been itching for updates on the new concept.
The joint has yet to create social media accounts and has kept a low profile on search engines, other than a Yelp page being formed in late September, only sharing the restaurant's address and phone number. According to state records, Otsuka Ramen passed its health inspection in late December.
In a phone call with CL, owner Xin He Li confirmed that the ramen concept is set to make its debut next week on either Tuesday or Wednesday.
Once up and running, Otsuka's hours are set for 11 a.m. to 9 p.m. daily.
More details to come as an official opening date is announced.
