If you’re sick of ordering from the same three places on UberEats, Creative Loafing’s Taco Takeover is coming to the rescue. From August 18-September 1, a slew of Tampa Bay restaurants are offering up taco deals and drink specials like Altos margaritas and Corona beer. So it’s basically Taco Tuesday for 15 days straight. Buckle up, people.
To give you a taste of what’s up for grabs, Catrina’s Taco and Tequila in Tampa is offering a $15 bundle serving up 3 chicken or beef tacos along with a small margarita. The Toasted Monkey on St. Pete Beach is serving two ahi tuna tacos with a side for $12.99, $5 corona products, and $7 Altos cocktails. Ybor’s 7th + Grove is offering up southern-inspired tacos $3.50 for one or $9 for three. The concept is also hosting two-for-one house margaritas, $7 frozen margs, and $5 vodka sangria.
