Tampa Bay-based chain PDQ opened it’s 16th Bay Area location, today, in Temple Terrace at 5112 E. Fowler Ave., a couple blocks away from University of South Florida, with their award-winning chicken tenders, sauces and more. Today’s festivities include scratch-off tickets with prizes, appearances by local musicians, WWE wrestler Titus O’Neil, and USF’s Rocky the Bull and cheerleading squad.

PDQ partnered with the Bullard Family Foundation to give back to families affected by COVID-19, but you can help out by visiting any PDQ location until 9 p.m. If you round up your check to the nearest dollar, 100% of the proceeds go to those in need.

For those who don’t know, PDQ was founded in 2009 and the first location opened a couple years later. The chain is also in full Bucs fan mode thanks to a new Buccaneers Shake, a hand-spun red velvet shake topped with whipped cream and Oreos, is available now; order a shake and receive an official Bucs car flag while supplies last. Locations are open 11 a.m.-9 p.m.
