Rooftop and patio dining is prime for locals especially when the weather isn't making us sweat through our T-shirts. Thankfully, the Art Ovation Hotel's Perspective Rooftop Pool Bar is hosting an open invitation event next Saturday evening for both guests and locals to celebrate its new menu with "reimagined" cocktails and bites.
No need to pack your sunscreen for the event that's going down on Saturday, Feb. 29 at 9 p.m.
While you sip and taste the latest additions to the menu, you can also drink in Sarasota skyline views. Some noteworthy craft cocktails on the list include the "Frida Kahlorita" with Vida mezcal, pasilla chili, hibiscus-infused agave and lime juice and the "Grand-Dad's Little Special" with black walnut-infused Old Grand-Dad, caramel syrup and angostura bitters.
Want to play it a little more lowkey? You can choose from a hefty list of beer and wine.
DJ Kidd Leow is set to spin throughout the evening to set the mood. Sounds like its worthy of a miniature road trip.
The Perspective Rooftop Pool Bar is open from 11 a.m.-5 p.m. for lunch and 5 p.m.-11 p.m. for dinner service. Happy hour is Monday through Friday from 5 p.m.-7 p.m., serving up $5 select beers and wines, and $6 well spirits.
