Pickleball is still booming in Tampa Bay, but players are tired of dilling with Florida weather. Pickle & Pint want to be part of the craze and the solution.

Located at 13200 S Belcher Rd. in Largo, Pickle & Pint brings 12 indoor courts, a full bar, and an atmosphere that blends recreation with a social club sensibility. The new venue offers everything from casual drop-in play to league competitions and private court rentals, alongside food, drinks, and alternative games like ping-pong and cornhole.

For many local players, the appeal is straightforward: air-conditioning and rain-free courts mean play goes on uninterrupted year-round, regardless of the forecast.

Still, the choice of location is a bold one— just half a mile from the established Dink House, another indoor pickleball facility with a similar concept.

Zachary Weir with Pickle & Pint said their larger court count, 12 compared to Dink House’s four, combined with a full-service bar, food offerings, and a more family-oriented environment, sets them apart.

“We want to create a space that’s welcoming, fun, and enjoyable for everyone,” Weir told Creative Loafing Tampa Bay. “We’re family-owned, and we’re focused on making this a place where people of all ages can feel comfortable.”

With that family-first approach, Weir says Pickle & Pint hopes to launch youth leagues and tournaments in collaboration with local schools.

After games, players can cool down at the on-site bar, which serves craft beers from Florida breweries, wine, and coffee from Belleair Coffee Company. The kitchen serves pizzas and small bites, and there’s a daily happy hour that knocks $2 off draft beer.

Pricing for court rentals ranges from $30 to $40 per hour depending on the time of day, with peak hours defined as weekday mornings before 11 a.m., evenings after 5 p.m., and all-day on weekends. Non-members can book courts up to five days in advance, with a cap of six players per court.

Pickle & Pint also plans to roll out leagues, classes, and clinics in the near future. Until then, open play sessions, $10 to $15 depending on the time slot, offer a chance for players to rotate in with similarly skilled partners.

An opening date for Pickle & Pint is to be determined, but two tournaments are already on the calendar: the “Team Moneyball” tournament on Friday, May 9, offering $1,800 in cash prizes for men’s and mixed doubles; and the “Spring Classic” on Saturday, May 31, where winners in men’s, women’s, and mixed doubles will take home Joola S3 paddles. Registration is $50 per person.

Memberships range from a free basic tier to a $174.99 monthly plan ($1,890 annually), offering perks like priority reservations, discounts on events and rentals, access to members-only events, and monthly guest passes.
