In honor of its recent remodeling, the Sonny’s BBQ Pinellas Park location is hosting a weeklong re-grand reopening celebration packed with food specials and family-friendly activities kicking off Wednesday, November 6. From Wednesday-Sunday, the restaurant is serving up $3 signature cocktails, but other Wednesday festivities include door prizes, an 11:30 a.m. ribbon-cutting and $5 sandos all day long.
On Thursday, customers can snag a St. Louis Dinner for $9.99, and the Friday-Sunday deal includes $5 off the Family Feast. The biggest event of them all is the fall festival held on Saturday, complete with face painting, a balloon artist, wheel of prizes and a free kid's meal with the purchase of an adult plate.
Now for the remodeling details — Sonny's updated the dining area by adding a new central bar and a second smoker giving diners a close-up look to the meaty action. The outdoor patio area is now loaded up with big-screen TVs to accommodate sports fans.
The Pinellas Park location is stationed at 4385 Park Blvd., and hours are 11 a.m.-9 p.m. Sunday-Thursday, 11 a.m.-10 p.m. Friday and Saturday.
