Things are getting spicy in Pinellas Park next weekend.
The 19th Annual Pinellas Pepper Fest returns to England Brothers Park with spicy taste tests, live music, vendors and contests.
Hundreds of samples ranging from mild to extreme heat will be available for guests to taste-test, including fiery sauces, salsas, marinades, rubs, and more. Vendors will have pepper plants, gadgets, kitchenware and merch.
Can’t handle the spice? You can still watch pepper fest veterans test their taste buds with the Extreme Lolli Lick-A-Thon, featuring the spiciest lolly pop in the world, and the Amateur Jalapeno Eating Contest.
The competition heats up even more with the qualifying event for Americas Belt Match, where contestants will fight through the spice for a chance to claim the coveted Tampa Belt and compete internationally.
There is no cover for Pinellas Pepper Fest happening Saturday-Sunday, May 2-3 in Pinellas Park.
