The new bakery, called Petit Piquant, specializes in to-go items, carrying everything from bread to espresso and tea. It's located at 1704 N. Howard Ave.
According to the Petit Piquant Facebook page, catering and baking classes are also offered.
The bakery's operating hours are 6:30 a.m. to 6 p.m. Monday through Friday, and 8 a.m. to 3 p.m. Saturday and Sunday.
