Raise a glass to Mead Day weekend events around Tampa Bay

You may have no clue of the significance of Mead Day 2019, but either way, you can raise a glass and get a little tipsy in its honor. 

Mead Day was created to increase mead awareness and foster camaraderie among mead makers by the American Homebrewers Association. 

Bars around Tampa Bay are celebrating, including Garagiste Meadery, which will be hosting an event on Saturday from noon-11 p.m.

While Mermaid Tavern will be hosting new meads on tap all weekend long. 

You can also just slide by Cigar City Cider & Mead for a signature pint.
