Every August, White Linen Night encourages New Orleans residents and art gallery owners to parade down Julia Street donning their finest white outfits. The annual summer celebration in the city's Warehouse District is an opportunity to partake in everything from drinks and small bites to live music while beating the heat.

South Tampa's Roux plans to host their own take on White Linen Night on Saturday, when diners can look forward to a three-course meal with specialty items from executive chef Chance Glover. Before moving to Florida, Glover cooked exclusively in Louisiana.

A signature cocktail — The White Party (Reyka Vodka, St-Germain, white cranberry, lemon) — accompanies the NOLA-inspired restaurant's featured dishes: confit duck and cherry beignets with goat cheese and garlic; butter-roasted Florida scallop with apricot and cilantro vinaigrette, prosciutto chip and sweet tomato granita; and spiced caramel and bourbon custard with candied pistachio cream.

The meal costs $50 per person. All-white attire is a must for guests, who should give Roux a call to reserve their seats.
