Last week, after over a year of renovations, Cafe Vino Tinto officially debuted its new location at 509 Main St. in Safety Harbor.

The shop took to Facebook to thank its cult following—as well as coffee-loving Safety Harbor residents—for breaking the record for the most coffee sold in the concept’s history.

“We couldn’t do any of this without you all, and for that we are forever grateful,” the shop wrote. “Community is such an important thing and we are so proud to be a part of the great community of businesses in Safety Harbor that support and uplift each other.”

Since 2016, Cafe Vino Tinto has been known for serving up an impressive lineup of espresso drinks, eats like frittatas, waffles with housemade syrups.

The 100% Arabica coffee beans Cafe Vino Tinto brews are sourced from a Costa Rican farm belonging to the coffee shop’s father-and-daughter founders’, Kent and Logan Runnellsa.

The new location offers indoor as well as covered outdoor seating. The concept is committed to following all social distancing guidelines, so be sure to keep your space, wear your mask and when in doubt, opt for takeout.

The coffee shop is open 7 a.m.-3 p.m. seven days a week.
