Bahama Breeze is celebrating the season through Rumtoberfest, a soirée that kicked off Sept. 21 and lasts until Nov. 8.

According to Bahama Breeze President Michael Kneidinger, “When all the tourists go home for the season, it is prime time for the locals to come out and play.”

Stop into any of the island-themed restaurant brand's 37 locations — there are eateries in Brandon and Tampa locally — to check out a special menu of premium rums, Hurricanes and three rum-fueled cocktail flights: Mama’s Hooch and Holler (Bahamian Sunset, Bahama Mama, Goombay Smash), Shark Attack Shack (Yaka, Zombie, Painkiller) or Float My Boat Bar (Curl Tail, Painkiller, Zombie).

On Friday nights, the restaurants will feature Rumbashes with games, prizes, live music, secret-password specials, and fortunetellers. Customers may also buy their own rum barrel mug as a keepsake.

Rumbash gets even bigger Oct. 29 to Oct. 31 during Bahama Breeze's Halloween celebration, where costume contests, giveaways, pirate tattoos and live music will join the Caribbean party. One guest will also win a five-night trip to the Bahamas for two by entering online.
