Looks like Seminole Heights' Florida Avenue Brewing is expanding into Wesley Chapel. Today, the brewery announced that its new 34,000-square-foot facility stationed at 2029 Arrowgrass Dr. Slated would open in late March 2020.
The plans include a full-service restaurant, event space, tasting room (complete with table, bar and couch seating) and space for cornhole and other recreational games under hanging lights.
The Wesley Chapel location allows also Florida Avenue to crank out product canning and distribution.
“We’re thrilled to be growing Florida Avenue Brewing into Pasco County,” Anthony Derby, CEO of Florida Avenue Brewing, said in a release.“This expansion allows our company to create a distinct and multifaceted destination for beer lovers to gather and enjoy craft brews and high-quality food from one of Florida’s oldest and most recognizable brands.”
The release adds that the new location creates 46 local jobs and an estimated $8.7 million-plus in new capital investments.

“We are happy to welcome Florida Avenue Brewing to Pasco County,” County Commissioner and Tourist Development Council Chairman Mike Moore added in the release. “The new tasting room and restaurant will be a great destination for our residents and tourists alike. I am excited Florida Avenue Brewing has chosen to invest in Pasco County.”
Construction will begin in early 2020, so mark your calendar and update your rideshare apps to check it out. More details to come as construction begins and an official opening date is announced.
