The third annual Good 'Burger Awards, which recognize places and faces making positive impacts on the St. Petersburg community, announced its 2015 nominees, and more than 15 food- and drink-related businesses and organizations made the cut.

Once voting kicks off online Monday, locals may choose from "Eats & Treats" finalists such as Harold Seltzer's Steakhouse, La V, BellaBrava and Sylvia's Queen of Soul Food, along with "Hot Spots & Hangouts" like The Ale & the Witch and The Canopy, or "Cool Companies" that include Kahwa Coffee and Gush Juice.

The Edible Peace Patch, Hollander Hotel and TradeWinds Island Resorts are among the other St. Petersburgers with food and beverage ties, and the nominees with the most votes will receive People's Choice honors.

While the awards ceremony at Jannus Live is set to take place 6 to 9 p.m. Thursday, Sept. 3, locals will have until Friday, Aug. 21, to submit their votes, which are limited to one ballot per device. Early bird tickets cost $10.

"Each year keeps getting better and we're excited for more growth and surprises with this year's event," said Event Chair Ryan Tarrant in a statement.
