Shelter Farm Sanctuary is hosting a farm tour on Sunday, July 28 at 11 a.m.

Entry is donation-based, and owners are encouraging that attendees bring a bag of feed, a bale of hay, fruits, and vegetables or a monetary donation.

The farm is currently on the lookout for volunteers and is hoping this tour will serve as an opportunity for those interested to slide by and do some research while getting acquainted with the various animals who are seeking asylum and getting a little TLC from Mike and Jenny Presley, the owners of Shelter Farm.

The farm runs as a nonprofit organization and has been posting videos of transferred animals in need of a “forever” home.

The farm is located on a five-acre plot at 1837 SW County Road 769 in Arcadia.

Step out of the city life and onto the farm for your Sunday Funday, you may even find yourself coming back volunteer to get a new more selfies with some piglets.

Those interested in taking a tour and meeting the residents of Shelter Farm Sanctuary, can head over to the accounts’ social media pages and shoot over a direct message.
