Shipt has rolled out beer and wine delivery to Target stores around the Tampa area. As of Wednesday, Oct. 24, Tampa residents with Shipt memberships can pass off their Target alcohol runs to the online grocery marketplace, whose legion of in-store shoppers will drop off orders in as little as an hour.

Oh, how hermity we've become.

The popular retail chain that is Target acquired Shipt in December 2017, and their same-day delivery partnership first made its way to Florida earlier this year.

"The addition of Target stores to Shipt's online marketplace across Florida allows us to deliver on our promise to offer quality products at great prices by making Target's wide assortment available to our dedicated members," said Bill Smith, founder and CEO of Shipt, in a statement on Jan. 25. "Florida's growing community of Shipt members continues to be loyal and enthusiastic about the service, and we look forward to expanding throughout the state with our newest retail partner, Target."

Alongside wine and beer, quaffing essentials like chips and salsa, koozies, guacamole and bags of ice are available for delivery through the Shipt app, as is all of the other stuff that makes up Target's stockpile of more than 55,000 Shipt-able products.
