Wines found in seven regions of Spain take center stage during Wine & Tapas. As advertised, the annual tasting event — hosted at Ybor City’s Centro Asturiano de Tampa from 6 to 9 p.m. Saturday, Nov. 3 — also has another highlight in store: a tapas buffet.
Best of both worlds much?
Throughout the evening, guests will pair their vino samples from La Rioja, Montsant, Rueda, Galicia, Cava, Jumilla and Ribera del Duero, which are provided by Opici Family Distributing, with the Vizcaya restaurant’s selection of small bites. Retail shop Casa Jimenez also plans to take discounted case orders of the featured wines.
A silent auction with donated items and services rounds out the event.
Admission to Wine & Tapas is available for purchase online. Tickets cost $75 in advance (aka get them by Wednesday, Oct. 31) or $85 at doors.
