If you’re ready for elevated sips on St. Pete Beach (no shade to PCI), you’re in luck. Wine bar, Sip, quietly opened at 6710 Gulf Blvd. last Friday.
The wine wall is stacked with reds and whites available in three serving sizes: “sip” (1.5 oz.), get “some” (3 oz.), or pour a little “more” (6 oz.).
While you’re more than welcome to drink your way through the wine list, guests can also dig into flatbreads and curated charcuterie to even out their buzz. The flatbread menu has classic bites like cheese, pepperoni, and caprese as well as a loaded Italian flatbread with mozzarella cheese, basil oregano, pepperoni, capicola, salami, prosciutto and pizza sauce.
Not a wine drinker but want in on the action? Sip also has brews by the bottle and can, ranging from seltzers and ciders to IPAs.
Now that the temps are finally (kind of) cooling down, you can get your drinks in and then take a tipsy social distanced stroll on the sand.
Hours for the new wine bar are 4 p.m.-10 p.m. on weekdays, and noon-10 p.m. on weekends.
