When it was first released in 2012, Moat Water was one of the more coveted Cigar City Brewing stouts.

The beer — made with a touch of water from the gross-ass Skatepark of Tampa sewer moat, then barrel-aged with coffee, vanilla and Canadian maple veneers — has since been revived to celebrate the park's 25th anniversary Friday, Dec. 21 in Ybor City.

CL can confirm that it does indeed taste a little like "all-you-can-eat chocolate chip pancakes and bottomless coffee."

The Bricks kicks off the Moat Water Release Party at 6 p.m., and this is the only place the public gets a crack for now. Samples will be poured.
