Attendees are invited to watch and sample drinks from each bartender and cast their vote for their favorite bartender.
Throughout the evening, guests can also sip on unique drink specials.
The event will run from 5-8 p.m., but you can stick around to shut the bar down at 10 p.m.
The bartenders will be competing for a grand prize of $800.
Competitors are from local bars including Sea Dog Brewing Co., Chili’s, Stillwaters Tavern, Brewster’s Tavern, and The Boathouse Restaurant at Walt Disney World.
Second and third place prizes include Marriott Hotels and Resorts vacation getaways.
Each bartender will choose one liquor for their cocktail, and they will have three minutes to create and garnish a drink for each of eight judges.
The second round will require speed and talent to develop a cocktail using a surprise ingredient. Audience participation is required to measure the performances of each bartender.
Tickets are $10 at the door.
Sloppy Joe's on the Beach is located at 10650 Gulf Blvd., Treasure Island.
