Celebrating its annual National Flip Flop Day, Tropical Smoothie Café will give out one complimentary 24-ounce Jetty Punch smoothie to folks wearing flip flops between 2 and 7 p.m. Friday, June 19.
The Bay area's 17 locations will participate in the holiday.
Nine years ago, Flip Flop Day began as a way for the smoothie brand to honor its patrons, but it's transformed into a fundraising benefit for Camp Sunshine, which supports children with life-threatening illnesses.
