Tickets are available on eventbrite.com and run from $50-$100, depending on what tier you prefer. All tickets come with unlimited sips and a souvenir glass, but VIP passes grant you access to the festival an hour earlier than the GA folks.
There is also a $50 “3 hour ticket” where guests can sip from 2 p.m.-5 p.m.
Angry Chair, 7th Sun, Arkane, Barriehaus, Corporate Ladder, King State, Magnanimous, Woven Water, and Sarasota’s Calusa Brewing will be representing the greater Tampa Bay area at this weekend’s Free the Whales event. Over 100 exclusive, limited-batch brews will be available for sipping during the 5 hour-long event—including craft beer from out of state breweries, like the New York-based Froth Brewing and Georgia's Little Cottage Brewery.
Brewed Events, the organizers of Free the Whales, just announced the tap list for this year's event, which includes Angry Chair's imperial German snowball cupcake, Barriehaus's Italian pilsner and Woven Water's PB&J fusion beer.
Ology Brewing will also be featured at Free the Whales, as the Tallahassee-based business is currently in the process of opening its fourth taproom in Tampa.
In addition to a wide range of brews to sip and sample, there will be a variety of food vendors to choose from. Lazy Oysters, Luchadough, Meat & Bone, Panolo's, Ted's Burgers and Off-Site will provide the eats at this year’s Save the Whales celebration.
