C/O MEAT MARKET

Hyde Park hotspot Meat Market takes pride in its reputation for not being a traditional, upscale steakhouse—and that used to mean you could only eat there during dinner hours. But the rather new restaurant, which debuted in Tampa last fall, now serves lunch every day and brunch on the weekends.

Guests can now order lunch from noon-3 p.m. daily, while weekend brunch runs from 11 a.m.-3 p.m. Saturday and Sunday.

Meat Market’s Executive Chef Sean Brasel has created a menu specifically for these new hours. Some brunch and lunch menu additions include sandwiches (a hot prosciutto press, oven-roasted flatbread and BBQ meatloaf burger), alongside options like pan-roasted salmon, herb-crusted sea bass and grilled chicken breast.

And thanks to Meat Market’s admiration for great hunks of steak, you can order various cuts like ribeye and filet mignon during its recently added lunch and brunch hours as well. If you’re feeling particularly fancy, opt for the $110 wagyu beef ribeye.

Tampa Bay simply loves its brunch, and Meat Market had to step up and give the foodies what they want. If brunch isn't your jam, Meat Market is open from noon-11 p.m. Sun. through Wed. and noon-midnight Thurs.-Sat. at 1606 W. Snow Ave. in South Tampa.
