A full-length action photograph showing Tampa coffee roaster Greg Spadaccini in mid-swing at an indoor virtual golf simulator. Positioned on artificial turf before a large digital screen displaying swing analytics, Spadaccini holds a golf club at the top of his backswing above a white golf ball. He wears a black t-shirt, tan shorts, sneakers, and a black baseball cap, with visible tattoos covering his arms and legs, set within a dark simulator bay equipped with an overhead projector and black wall enclosure.

There’s a lot you could roast Greg Spadaccini about.

Like how for 10 years, he’s made his extremely loyal Spaddy’s Coffee customers in Seminole Heights sit outside to enjoy the very good coffee that he’s been making for over a decade. The guy even opened an indoor country club before cooling down that cozy courtyard.

And what about that golf game? The 37-year-old claims to be a scratch golfer and is always posting from the course as if he’s some kind of influencer.

Someone’s bound to call Spaddy out on that at this roast of the roaster, and maybe rip on his creepy van, or mountain bike skills, too.

More than that though, this night of unfiltered call-outs should also be a celebration of local business, turning an 8’ x 12’ from Craigslist into a much bigger one, and what it takes to make one work for over a decade in Seminole Heights.

Expect food from The Brisket Shoppe, coffee, and insults as the neighborhood hangs out in the sketchy alley behind Heights Country Club on Saturday night.

There’s no cover for Spaddy’s 10-year celebration happening Saturday, Sept. 5 at 7 p.m. behind Heights Country Club in Tampa.
