In honor of National Creamsicle Day, let's talk about CL and Cigar City Cider and Mead's collaboration to commemorate Best of the Bay's 25th anniversary: the Beast of the Bay orange cream cider.

The toothsome cider, premiering at Beer Fest @ MOSI at 8 p.m. Aug. 22, highlights Valencia orange, vanilla and a hint of ginger.

During the beer festival, the beverage may be found inside "The Cider House" on the Tampa museum's second floor. The event will feature 90-plus local and national craft brews, food trucks, interactive exhibits and more. General admission and VIP tickets are available.

Loafers will also score a taste of Beast of the Bay throughout the annual BOTB bash at 6 p.m. Sept. 23 at the Mahaffey Theater. The party will include 25 food and drink sampling stations featuring restaurants like Anise Global Gastrobar, Salty's, Acropolis Greek Tavern and Pipo's Cuban Cafe.
