The fifth Sprouts Farmers Market is coming to town (sixth if you count Sarasota). Trinity has snagged the Phoenix-based specialty grocery chain’s latest Tampa Bay location, which is planned for The Village at Mitchell Ranch at State Road 54 and Little Road.
An opening date for Trinity hasn’t been announced yet, but the forthcoming store serves as a reminder of Sprouts’ still-growing Florida footprint. Clearwater, Winter Park, Naples, Oviedo, Deerfield Beach and Wellington are its previously announced expansion sites.
With an emphasis on organic foods and products, the chain was first introduced to local shoppers in 2017, when the first Florida location premiered in Tampa’s Carrollwood area. Stores in Palm Harbor, South Tampa, Valrico and the aforementioned Sarasota have followed since — in a pretty short amount of time, to boot.
