A little slice of Germany is headed for Corey Avenue. St. Pete Beach Oktoberfest — hosted for the first time from 10 a.m. to 8 p.m. Saturday, Oct. 20, and 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. Sunday, Oct. 21 — brings classic fare like smoked sausages, sauerkraut and pretzels to the city’s downtown core, where big-ass pints of beer are also planned.

Alpine Doc & Fraulein Gretel’s live tunes should keep the crowd busy, alongside performances from the Bavarian Folk Dance Club (aka Gulf Coast Enzianer Schuhplattler Verein).

An arts and crafts marketplace completes the two-day celebration.
