This week, Ray's Vegan Soul, located at 169 Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. St. N. in St. Pete, has closed its doors.
There are talks of the plant-based eatery moving to a different location in the near future, but for now, locals will have to get their vegan bites elsewhere.
Just last month, Angela Bassett visited the restaurant, and social media was abuzz. Owner Ray Milton was tight-lipped when it came to the recipe of his mac 'n' cheese, claiming the recipe came to him in a dream and was an instant hit with customers.
Fingers crossed the 'Burg won't be without the mac for long.
