Beans & Barlour, a coffee and dessert lounge that offers alcohol-infused ice cream, announced Friday afternoon that it will host a free toilet paper “drive-thru.” If you plan on going, the drive-thru will start at 11:30 a.m. on Saturday, March 21.
To prevent overcrowding and to minimize contact, the St. Petersburg restaurant, which is located at 538 First Ave. N, is asking that patrons wait at the curb until a staff member is able to assist them.
“The TP will be completely free but if you feel inclined to tip our staff they will greatly appreciate it during this time of decreased earnings,” the restaurant said in an Instagram post.
According to the Instagram post, the restaurant will be donating commercial sized toilet paper roles, which are nine inches in diameter, or approximately five times larger than a standard residential roll.
“Supplies are limited so we ask that you only stop by if you have a true need,” the restaurant said.
