Each time I go to Georgia, I send out a blast to friends and family before entering back into the sunshine state. "Place your orders, I am making a beer run."
Too many beers I love aren't for sale in Florida. The last time I sent out the call, I got over 15 orders for various brews from SweetWater to New Belgium. SweetWater Brewing Company announced Tuesday that they will begin distribution in Florida in the coming weeks. The Atlanta-based brewery will have their hoppy fresh ales on draft at select bars, pubs and restaurants in Tampa and Orlando. Tampa should get the beers first, around late October.
