If you're interested in joining Sweetwater Organic Community Farm's CSA (Community Supported Agriculture) program or just want to learn how a CSA works, then be sure to attend their open house event this Saturday, August 14th, from 10 a.m. until 2 p.m.
There will be a farm tour from 10:30-11:30 a.m. and again from 12:00-1:00 p.m. Sweetwater staff will be available to provide information and answer questions about their volunteer, field trip, and CSA programs. Organic lemonade and snacks, provided by Rollin Oat’s Market, will be served; children can participate in some arts and crafts in the "Kid's Korner"; and a community drum circle presentation will begin at 1:30 p.m. All are welcome to participate in this free event that is open to the public.
